When the user clicks that tracked link and books on Destination Big Bear.com, the affiliate gets paid 5%. Yes! We do have bookings that are over $20,000.00, that means one booking can earn you $1000.00! All you have to do is post the link to your website or on your social media channels tagging Destination Big Bear as a lodging partner! How does the URL work?
When someone searches for a cabin and books it from your link you will earn a commission per booking. You can put a search box on your website. If using social media, link in your Swipe Up stories and Bio.
Influencer Collaborations- Host Giveaways
Utilize our Paid Affiliate Marketing in Big Bear by collaborating on a giveaway! What this means is, if you meet our criteria for a strong social media following, you will be sent an emailed contract to start a collaboration. The giveaway is simple. You get a 2-Night Stay, advertise your getaway to your large following. We co-host a giveaway to ours followers for exposure on the cabin, and the winner will get a Free 2-night stay. So, 4 nights total in exchange for free advertising and attention for the listing.
You get a Free-Stay and earn commissions on the affiliate URL linked to the post.
Influencers staying with Destination Big Bear must fit a specific criteria to be approved, contracted to do the following:
Provide at minimum:
- Permanent social media posts, i.e. not just stories or 24 Hour posts across applicable platforms. (Instagram, Facebook YouTube & TikTok Channels) tagging @destinationbigbear and the home link directly. (Your social handle if applicable.)
- Swipe up story links for your follower giveaways (Instagram) both tagging @destinationbigbear AND providing personalized affiliate link and the home link directly.
- Approving a blog page/featuring the influencer back linking to both www.destinationbigbear.com and to the home directly.
- In order to create the highlight page:
- Current Instagram handle/s
- Name of the Cabin you stayed in.
- A link to your post highlighting your stay. (Once Posted)
- 5-10 raw or edited images (High resolution, not screen-shotted) from your stay, Experiences in Big Bear, and a main image of you!
- Short written review reminiscing about things you did during your stay! Whether it be the cabin amenities or things to do in town.
*All links must be a follow link. “No-Follow” links are not accepted*
In addition, you must agree to pay the home’s deposit amount for incidentals. (Homeowners are not held liable for influencer stay damages to the property and your card will be kept on file upon checkout procedures in case damages are discovered.)
HOW WE CHOOSE INFLUENCERS
Must have at Minimum, 30K Followers on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook. (Whichever is applicable.) You are expected to make a post, share our giveaway posts, and make a high quality video/photos of your stay and experience for all of your following to continually see. Content must be family appropriate and timelessly usable on both your channel and ours. (Contracted to keep the post up indefinitely.) The goal is to help generate bookings from your following, market the individual home on platforms that are outside of our reach, and ultimately bring a lot of attention to us. The benefit back to you is your tracked URL will continue to generate commissions. We tend to approve influencers who fit our demographic and target of families, outdoor enthusiasts, and travel savvy bloggers.
