Christmas Weekend in Big Bear

Guided Snowshoe Eco Tour
Strap on those funny looking tennis rackets to your feet and get ready to hit the trails, winter style! The Big Bear Discovery Center offers guided snowshoe tours every Saturday from 9 a.m.- noon and again from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. through the winter months. Depends on snow conditions so keep your fingers crossed. Fees are $30 for Adults and $20 for kids (8-12 yrs). Call (909) 382-2790 to reserve your spot.
Riglet Park Camp at Bear Mountain
Now kids age 3-6 have the opportunity to snowboard like the grownups! Once a month Bear Mountain is transforming a small area into Riglet Park which uses Burton’s Learn-To-Ride technology and concentrates on safety in a fun environment. Point Break and The Chipmunks
Big Bear Lake has a great movie theater without having to spend a fortune! You and your family can enjoy new release movies with surround sound, tasty snacks and it’s only $10 a ticket for adults and $6.50 for kids 11 and younger. Goldsmith’s Board House Race Series #1
Snow Summit is hosting the first of Goldsmith’s annual race series on Sunday, December 27th. Registration is from 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. with the race at 10 a.m. The event is open to anyone ages 6-20. Call (909) 866-5766 for all the details.
The Rising- Springsteen Tribute at The Cave
Finish off your weekend at The CAVE for a rocking good time with The Rising- Springsteen Tribute band. The CAVE is Big Bear’s state-of-the-art music venue with food, drinks and guaranteed great sound! Located in The Village.
