Big Bear is packed with great hiking trails.  Located in the San Bernardino National Forest, there are hiking trails for every skill level and adventurous spirit.  Take a trip outdoors from your Big Bear cabin rental and go take a hike!  Literally!

Destination Big Bear is having a hiking Big Bear photo contest!  Hit the trails and snap a pic of your favorite view, feature or even your favorite rock!  With so much nature surrounding us, we love to show it off.

Here is what you do: Post your Big Bear hiking photo on  Destination Big Bear Facebook page and tell us which trail you are hiking.  It’s so easy!  The 3 Big Bear hiking pictures with the most LIKES by August 22nd will be entered to WIN a free stay at Sweet Forest Cabin in the Fall.  This cabin in Big Bear is close to Bear Mountain Ski Resort and has a great deck for grilling and relaxing after your Big Bear hiking trip.
