Meadow Park
Located at 41220 Park Ave. Big Bear Lake CA 92315 (EAST)
This park features picnic tables, a basketball court, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, playground equipment and the Parks and Recreation Baseball Fields. A covered Gazebo for events is available for reservation at the Parks and Recreation Building.
Bark Park (Meadow Park Dog Park)
Located at 41220 Park Ave. Big Bear Lake CA 92315 (Between 2 Parks)
This park features a small dog breed area with benches, small dog obstacles, complimentary waste bags & waste bins. The large dog area features the same amenities and a faucet with dog bowls for clean doggy drinking water. Completely filled with sand & equipped with safety entrances with multiple entry gates. Within walking distance of Ski Beach Pier. Dogs must be leashed until within the gate. Friendly dogs ONLY.
Ski Beach Park (Pier Park)
Located at 41220 Park Ave. Big Bear Lake CA 92315 (WEST)
This park features a large grass area, perfect for watching the seasonal fireworks shows. Picnic tables by the lake, a long jetty to walk out on, a pier overlooking the lake, playground equipment and a swing set. Seasonally open restroom facilities are available on site.
Rotary Pine Knot Park
Located at 481 Bartlett Rd. Big Bear Lake CA 92315
This park is near the Big Bear Lake Village and features picnic tables with a lake view, a winding walking path, playground equipment and seasonally open restroom facilities. It's behind the post office on Pine Knot Ave. and is open year round. Walk out to the water or ponder life on the many, lake-facing benches.
Veterans Park
Located at 40870 Big Bear Blvd. Big Bear Lake CA 92315
This park is also near the Big Bear Lake Village and features picnic tables with a lake view, a winding walking path around the grass, a large Gazebo and plaques honoring our veterans. Seasonally open restroom facilities. Located next to the Community Church, this park also has a small skate park across the parking lot. Within walking distance of the village and restaurants. Visit Big Bear hosts seasonal free concerts at this park. Check out past concerts HERE!
Boulder Bay Park
Located at 39080 Big Bear Blvd. Big Bear Lake CA 92315
This park is between the Big Bear Lake Village and the Dam. It features picnic tables with a lake view, a winding walking path around the grass, a large Gazebo and a pier overlooking the water and Boulder Bay. Seasonally open restroom facilities are available on site. Great for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. This bay is perfect for family gatherings. Carpooling is suggested because of the small parking lot.
Miller Park (Fawnskin)
Located at 1178 Chicksaw Rd. Fawnskin CA 92333
This park is tucked away in a residential neighborhood on the West end of the North Shore side of town. It features picnic tables, tennis courts, a basketball court and a winding walking path, playground equipment and seasonally open restroom facilities. It's up the street from the Fawnskin fire station. There is an events building at Miller Park available for reservations at Parks & Rec located at Meadow Park.
Sugarloaf Park & Skate Park
Located at 44866 Baldwin Ln. Big Bear City CA 92314
This park is by the High School and Baldwin Elementary School. Right behind the Sugarloaf Fire Station. It features a large skate park/bike park, baseball field, picnic tables, a basketball court, adult work out & playground equipment and seasonally open restroom facilities. It's one of the three parks on the east side of town.
Juniper Point (North Shore)
Located at 41365 North Shore Dr. Big Bear City CA 92314
This picnic area is located on the North Shore Pedal Path. It is half way from the East Boat Ramp to the Discovery Center and is a local favorite for it's picturesque views of the slopes and convenient location on the walking path. It features picnic tables, wildflowers, boardwalks overlooking the meadows and lake, gorgeous sunsets, fishing, and communal BBQ Pits. Seasonally open restrooms are available on site. You must have an Adventure Pass to park at this picnic area. It's one of the three designated picnic areas on the North Shore. East Boat Ramp and Meadows Edge being the two other picnic area options.
