Christkindlmarkt hosts 2 days of Holiday Shopping Fun with a German twist!

Christkindlmarkt at Big Bear Convention Center hosts 2 days or Big Bear’s ONLY shopping experience with an authentic touch of traditional German fare featuring live German entertainment, kids activities, the Wishing Tree, local Carolers, and holiday vendors. Enjoy an outing for the whole family under the crisp mountain air and pines. You don’t want to miss out! The annual Mountain Christmas Boutique kicks-off the holiday season shopping in Big Bear Lake.  This year’s arts and crafts show once again takes place over the Thanksgiving weekend holiday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10: AM – 5 PM, November 27 through December 1 at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center.  This year’s boutique features a huge variety of vendors, FREE arts & crafts for children, FREE visits with Santa Claus, and holiday libations and delicious food.

The Chistkindlmarkt has become a Big Bear holiday tradition.  The show offers a quaint shopping experience featuring handmade gifts and one-of-a-kind items and a variety of collectible and unique gifts.  Crafters and artists from throughout the Western United States converge in Big Bear Lake for the holiday weekend.  From wire-wrapped and gem jewelry, to handmade hats and scarves, to homemade fudge and oils, to candles and wood crafts, there are gifts available for every taste and every budget.  Holiday items include Christmas wreaths, handmade Santas, and holidays treats.  New this year, each paid admission will receive a drawing ticket to win prizes from the various vendors, as well as other great Big Bear prizes.  Drawings will be held twice daily and guests will need to be present to win.

Little shoppers will enjoy making holiday arts & craft items as well. Wyatt’s will be open during the show hours with a limited menu.  Holiday libations and a variety of show foods will be available as well.

The holiday market is located at the Convention Center at Big Bear Lake on the corner of Division Drive and Big Bear Blvd.  Doors open at 10:00 a.m. daily with the shopping continuing through 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.   Admission is undetermined.
