Destination Big Bear Cleaning Check List

Cleaning guide is related to the recent COVID-19 pandemic and the importance for Cleaner Contractors to follow the
State/CDC suggested guidelines on the appropriate products and guidelines related to cleaning and disinfecting.

For your safety follow these guidelines.

1. Wear gloves and a mask when cleaning, Open doors and windows if necessary to air out property.
2. Destination Big Bear is not restricting access to a home.  Cleaners may enter the property the same day the guests check out.
3. On rare occasions, a guest may check out and another guest may check in the same day.  All cleaners may request not to clean homes the same day a guest check out.  Please inform us if you do not wish to clean a back to back.
4. Cleaners, please make sure you are checking off your cleanings as you complete them.
5. Cleaners, please bring all of your extra towels to the office so we can take inventory.
6. Check out will be at 10am. It will be rare to allow a checkout after 10am. The Property may be cleaned after this period.
7. Covid does not seem to spread via surfaces:

Pay special attention to frequently touched surfaces points including but not limited to the items listed below.
Use spray disinfectant on all touch surface then go back and wipe them down.
Spray Odo ban on all bedding, pillows, couches if fabric, chairs. You can even spray carpet.
General:
Front Door
Doorknobs
Fans and lamp chains
Garbage and bins
Hairdryers (If any)
Light switches
Handrails
Remotes
Tabletops
BBQ
Thermostats
Window sills and window handles
Kitchen:
Appliances: Dishwasher, stoves, oven, coffee maker, toaster, tea pot blender, etc.
Trash can
Remove all old sponges
Cabinets handles and pulls
Kitchen chairs
Sinks
Counters
Empty dishwashers and make sure all dishes are clean.
Make sure all pots and pans are checked for cleanliness.
Remove ALL open food, spices except for salt and pepper (wipe down bottles, condiments, etc
Sweep and mop all floors
Bathroom:
Faucet handles
Shower curtains and door
Showers and tub
Sinks
Toilets
Wash all towels at the hottest setting
Sweep and mop all floors
Bedrooms:
Wash all linens at the hottest temperatures.
Disinfect all furniture.

Vacuum, sweep and mop all floors
Other
Disinfect all Pool sticks, Foosball handles, etc.
Wipe down the hot tub handle, control panel, and under the lid, top of the hot tub all around.
