Polar Plunge in Big Bear Lake

You’ll be helping raise money to support athletes with intellectual disabilities, who are enriching their lives through sports education health programs – just one way they make life better than ever before at The Special Olympics Inland Empire (IONS).

The waters of Big Bear Lake will be chilly this Saturday, but they’re not going to stop you from getting your plunge on. For just $50+ taxes or fees (depending upon how much is raised), it’s possible for everyone who participates in the Polar Plunge at least once during the 2022 season! You’ll have plenty of opportunities throughout these two years– before each new moon festival that comes around; after completing certain workouts like runs/walks outside or whatever suits their fancy best.
The registration schedule for this year’s Big Bear Relay is as follows:
Friday, April 2nd – Thursday 8 PM to 5 AM at the annual chamber event ( 630 Bartlett Rd). The opening ceremonies will take place right before noon on Friday After that it stays open until Sunday night when we close down ceremony logistics and get ready for one amazing week of racing!
How to plan
The Polar Plunge will take place at Veterans Park, but there is more than just swimming to look forward to. A Family Fun Area includes displays by law enforcement and fire department members as well as a rock wall ( weather dependent) and silent auction items such as raffle prizes that you can bid on during this event. audience participation is not required; come dressed up in your favorite costume!
