The zipline action tour that we took in Big Bear was awesome. It started out with a great drive higher up the mountain and then we climbed into safari jeeps and took a 2 mile off-road ride trip to our final destination through the woods and rough terrain.  Upon our arrival we had a short safety meeting, got harnessed up and off we went. Now I am a little scared of heights for some things, however, the safety gear and instruction made me feel so very comfortable and safe.

When you start off you are gliding among the treetops, the mountain air rushing in your face. As you look down at the mountain below, and the bright blue sky above you, it kinda makes you feel like you are flying like a bird. This was one of the most exciting things we have ever done. It literally takes your breath away, provides you with a shot of adrenaline, everyone around you is laughing and carrying on. Our tour guide was fantastic and he shared some of his local knowledge and pointed us out to a great dinner after our tour.
