The Time Bandit - Of Big Bear

Our 1/3 scale sized replica of an actuall Pirate ship  was built in the 1960's by a Father and Son team from the L.A area in the families back yard. The Spansih Galleon style ship was used in several films including the 1981 movie "Time Bandit" and later was used as a private residence. The Time Bandit later went onto cruising tour boat in the Harbor's of Los Angeles, she could be found in the Newport beach area as well.

The ship was brought to Big Bear to operate as a tour boat. It took boat shippers 2.5 days to scale up the mountain to get our "Pirate Ship" here.
